Can you believe we are half way through the school year? Tuesday was the 90th day of school. We are planning activities for the 100th day celebration on February 13th.
Many classes talked about the popular Groundhog Day tradition (read a book, made predictions, created graphs), and eagerly awaited the outcome. Apparently the groundhog emerged from its burrow and saw its shadow. I guess the weather was clear in PA this morning. Ugh, six more weeks of winter.
The hallways and classrooms were a blur of red and blue today. The cafeteria looked like Gillette Stadium! Pictures of our Patriot's spirit will be posted on Facebook.
Please mark your calendar for Thursday, March 1st. We hope you will join us for our Dr. Seuss Family Literacy Night (6:30-7:30PM). A flier with more information will be going home next week. We need to get an idea of how many families will be attending so we can prepare activities. Kindly send back the bottom half of the paper for planning purposes.
Next Wednesday, February 7th, we have an early release at 12:20PM for a professional development afternoon. Please plan accordingly.
Have a wonderful weekend.
