What an exciting first few days of school! Everywhere I went I felt energy and enthusiasm. Students practiced a variety of routines, met new staff members, reunited with friends, met new friends, and were active participants in building classroom communities.
We welcomed 22 new students this week. Mrs. MacKinnon and Mrs. Reynolds are gathering small groups of our new friends for a special tour of the school. Classmates do a wonderful job ensuring new friends are included and help them learn their way around the building.
A huge thank you for the fabulous Welcome Back Breakfast for staff on Tuesday. We appreciated the many contributions. The variety of delicious choices were enjoyed again on Wednesday. What a lovely gesture by the Parent Teacher Council.
Thank you for reading the information sent home on Tuesday in a red folder. Please complete and return the paperwork next week.

Please continue to be patient with us next week as we teach the kindergarten students the
More information on our special school can be found on our website, Facebook page, and on Twitter. Information is added weekly.
We need coordinators for the Nab Parent Teacher Council. Please let me know if you are interested in planning, coordinating and/or facilitating some of the activities.
Remember, we do not have school tomorrow (Friday, September 1st) or on Monday, September 4th. We look forward to welcoming 88 kindergarten friends next Tuesday, September 5th.
Enjoy the long weekend.
