Arrival & Dismissal Information:
School hours are from 9:05 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Buses and cars will not be unloaded prior to 8:55 due to safety reasons. For a fee of $225 per year, before-school supervision of children is available beginning at 7:00 a.m. Students will not be permitted to access this program after 8:00 a.m.
Students who walk to school may enter the building through the kindergarten doors at 8:55 a.m. and enter with children exiting the buses. All walkers will be dismissed through the kindergarten door exit and must be greeted by a parent/guardian.
Parents who choose to drive and pick children up at school must register for a vehicle number. Cars will queue up around the building along side the kindergarten wing. They will be directed to pull up one at a time to drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. Children will be greeted in the morning and brought out to the cars in the afternoon by trained staff members. Drivers must display a number on the passenger side at dismissal for each child they are transporting.
All children who ride the bus must display an official photo bus pass attached to their backpacks. Children who ride the bus will be put on the bus at dismissal time unless there is a note from you to the classroom teacher indicating otherwise. Please specify in the note whether it is a "walk-in" pick up or a "car pick-up". Riding an unassigned bus home with friends after school will not be allowed under the new procedures. Please note, due to safty reasons all changes in plans must be forwarded with a note! We appreciate your patience as we implement these new procedures.
Building Access:
For the security and safety of the students and staff, school doors will be locked daily from 9:15a.m.-3:15 p.m.
Please ring the doorbell for assistance. All visitors/volunteers must sign in at the front desk and display a name badge.
